  8. I am pleased to release my first attempt at a game on the PC.  This
  9. game was programmed entirely using Borland Turbo Pascal 7.0, and
  10. the storyline, graphics, etc. are all my own creations.  I did,
  11. however, use a few public domain utilities to aid me in drawing
  12. the graphics, etc., and the music was NOT created by me; they were
  13. simply public domain CMF files I found floating around, so I give
  14. here credit to whoever it was that did create them.  This game
  15. has been playtested, and so while there are no major bugs which
  16. will format your hard drive, or crash your computer (I hope), this
  17. program may still have very minor flaws.  Thus I would appreciate
  18. you informing me of any errors or screw-ups you may discover while
  19. playing the game.  If you do, please write down the circumstances
  20. of the error, and a detailed description of what went wrong, and
  21. mail it to me at the address below.  Just in case, Save Often!!!

  23. If your reported error is relatively serious, I will be glad to
  24. send you an updated registered version, v1.2, free of charge, so 
  25. leave me a self-adressed, stamped envelope along with your note
  26. if you want this.  I am hoping the bugs are few and far between,
  27. but nobody's perfect.

  30. busy all next summer.

  43. Note: This game is Shareware, and as such may be freely distributed,
  44. provided it remains in its archived form (i.e. the files INSTALL.DA1,
  45. INSTALL.DA2, INSTALL.DA3).  Once installed in your computer, the
  46. game takes a "fingerprint" of your computer and its environment, and
  47. the installed version will not work if copied to another system.
  48. If this causes any problems (e.g. registered users upgrading computers)
  49. I will be happy to register you again for free (I keep the names of
  50. everyone who registers).  Sorry I had to do this, but I hope to at
  51. least challenge software pirates with a bit of copy protection for
  52. a change.  Anyway, give the archived version of this game to all your
  53. friends, and upload it wherever you want.  Thanks.
